What markers will work best for your silicone coloring mats?

Dry-erase markers. Avoid permanent oil-based stains and can cause discoloration.

Will these mats leave residue or attract dust to my table?

Silicone can build up static and attract dust, but it can be easily cleaned. Simply give your Miminoo mat a quick rinse, let it air dry, and occasionally wipe it down with a damp microfiber to reduce static and dust.

As for residue, your silicone mat should not leave any when cleaned properly.

Why does brand-new silicone sometimes have a smell?

A light “brand-new, just-made” odor is natural and can happen. Give our mats a quick wash with mild soap and a thorough rinse, then let them air-dry. Any odor typically fades quickly after that.
